Really it just depends on what weapons you have or will soon be getting. For the most part you can pick a single weapon type and then just farm for a weapont to suit the build, that way you can take advantage of the very nice spec options for weapon types. I don't like polearm spec because it's so far down the tree, but 5% crit is very nice. The best, IMO, is sword spec for burst dps and rage generation. That extra attack with a nice big 2hander can demolish people, and if both attacks crit then poor little gnomes get sliced in half. But not taking advantage of those weapon specs, while still viable, is kinda nerfing yourself when there are some very nice options there.

spec according to your focus for your character.

If you want to be good in pvp then 31/20 MS is the best way to go. if you want PvE dps then some form of fury. if you want to tank all the time then full prot but you can do just fine with only 15 in prot.

i'm a hybrid of pvp and pve, 31/5/15. i can mash people's heads in given the chance. but for warriors it's all about gear. once you get a good 64+ DPS weapon you will notice a difference. i assume you have IBS? that's a great weapon for a blue. doomulus prime is slightly better imo except it's a mace so no 5% crit from polearm spec.

regardless of spec, you should always be trying to gather good DPS and tanking gear you can find in blue instances. strath, scholo etc.

Yeah, that was me btw.

I see that an MS build would be most appropriate when I have a really nice weapon I want to spec into for it.

I've been using something a little bit like the bitch spec for pve and while I like it, I want to try a 2h build.

Given the above, I do believe the PvP Fury spec you suggest will be my spec of choice at 60.

No worries about the verbal fisticuffs; I too was feeling stressed and punchy due to unrelated issues. Your apology, while perhaps not even warranted, is gladly accepted, and I offer my own in return.

I think I'll eventually try to get a really nice 2h sword and spec MS with that; I want to chop up little gnomes!

Thanks for the commentary, critique and clarifications all.

Edit: I was on crack I swear, I'm just gonna use Kelt's 18/33/0 spec instead, never mind.

don't spec into prot unless you are going for defiance, which helps hold aggro. if you don't plan on spending at least 15 into prot then don't bother spending any. the cookie cutter PvP/prot build is 31/5/15.
