AQ40 info: Trash-Prophet

Trash:
Eradicator, Sentinel pack, 2 eradicators, Sentinel pack.

Obsidian Eradicator (wowwiki): Just like Moam, but no adds. Mana burn and DPS. They hit like prot spec warriors, so healing is easy.

Anubisath Sentinel (wowwiki):
Comes in packs of 4

Each one has a special ability, and when it dies it gives the other ones its ability. This means DPS order is important. They also heal the other ones when they die, so we have to kill them one by one.

Abilities:
  • Mending: 4.7k health/3 seconds. use MS
  • MS: ~3.2k damage, debuff.
  • Knockback: Knockbacks the tank. Immune to taunt.
  • Mana burn: mana burns every now and then
  • Shadow storm: All players outside melee range take damage
  • Reflect arcane/fire (detect magic reflected): See AQ20 trash and have Hara pyroblast.
  • Reflect shadow/frost: See AQ20 trash.
  • Thorns: ~500 nature damage to attackers
  • Thunderclap: ~800 nature damage, no debuff

Thunderclap needs to be done last. MS isn't too bad if you keep your tank up I imagine. Shadowstorm is nasty I think. If you get both reflects on a mob, gg mages/locks.

From what I read on the wiki, Skeram doesn't sound very difficult. I think the packs of 4 sentinels sound ridiculous though. We have enough problems fighting one at a time, I reckon four is going to be tough.

Keep in mind we have 40 people so they go down ALOT faster. Even if there are 4x as many.

We've never fought one at a time. They'll be an interesting fight, and different then anything else we've fought.

the trash to the profit is a little tricky.

I think we can do the profit as long as we have the tanks to pick up the splits and keep them out of the group.

mages are too far back. there accually needs to be one mage on the stairs to pick up MCd folks. other wise they be out of range.

if you set the mages and healers on the walls near the bottom healers can more effectivly heal the tanks that are on the steps and the MT in the center, mages like pyro said MUST be able to sheep fast and be in range or healers die.

The trash really shouldn't be a problem. The OE's are just Moam without the elementals or stoneform. Lots of mana drain and kill the sucker. While there are 4 Sentinels, realize they only have one of those abilities. The Guardians in AQ20 have several of them. The trick with the Sentinels is killing them in a good order so that you're not spreading the worst abilities out too soon.

it's a great diagram, but there are definitely people who will have to be on the stairs (towards the top of course) for LOS and to be in range of the melee to be healed.

Mages should make sure that they are in range to sheep any of the rogues/tanks that get mind controlled.

Tanks have to pick up the splits. If they start wandering around they AE the clothies.

I think we can definitely take care of the trash. I know i said they're tricky, and that's cause of the abilities thing.
